Three chairs, two barbers and a visit you can read before you book: a cut, a hot towel, a straight-razor shave and a finish. By appointment only, and new clients are welcome.

The Cask visit

Ninety minutes, minute by minute

The long visit has five parts. This is the order they come in and how long each one takes.

  1. 10 min

    Step 1: Settle and talk

    Coat away, a seat at the chair and a talk about the cut, the beard and how you wear them. Bring a photo if you have one.

  2. 30 min

    Step 2: The cut

    Clippers and scissors to the line you asked for, checked from every side and matched to the way your hair grows.

  3. 10 min

    Step 3: The hot towel

    The chair goes back and a hot towel goes over the face and neck. Nothing else happens for a few minutes.

  4. 25 min

    Step 4: The shave

    Warm lather and a new blade for the shave or beard shaping, done slowly in the shave chair.

  5. 15 min

    Step 5: The finish

    A cool towel, balm on the beard if you like it, a comb-through and a look in the mirror.

  • Skin fade

    45 min

    Clippers taken down to the skin and blended up the sides and back. Cut on coils, waves, curls or straight hair.

    45 min

    A soft taper at the neckline, with the top cut by scissors and comb. Suits hair worn longer on top.

    30 min

    One length or a simple taper, cut with clippers and finished cleanly at the neckline.

Groups

Bring up to five friends

A send-off, a birthday, a wedding party or a team that wants to look sharp together. We hold the lounge for your group, and everyone picks the visit they want.

A deposit holds the date. A party of six takes the lounge for about three hours of cuts, and longer when shaves are on the list.

Before you book

Do you take walk-ins?

No. Every visit is by appointment, which is how a long visit stays unhurried. Book online or call the lounge.

How long is the longest visit?

The Cask visit is 90 minutes: a cut, a hot towel, a shave and a finish. Cuts alone take 30 to 45 minutes, and every service shows its time.

How does the deposit work?

Visits of an hour or more take a deposit that holds your time and goes toward your service. The amount shows when you book.

Can you cut my hair?

Waves, coils, curls, twists and straight hair. Tell us how you wear it when you book.

Can I bring friends?

Yes. A party of up to six books the lounge together. The groups page shows how.
